I can't even put my feelings into words about this disgusting crime against this puppy.
A small dog found tied up inside a plastic garbage bag has been adopted and will be going to its new home Tuesday.
Last week, a motorist pulled off Deschutes Market Road northeast of Bend to use her cell phone. She saw movement coming from a white trash bag next to the road. Deschutes County Sheriff's Lt. Gary Decker said the woman tore open the bag and found a small Pug coated in urine and feces.The 8-month-old Pug was taken to Humane Society of Central Oregon, where it has been recovering from near suffocation. The sheriff's office is still looking for the culprit.
